From The Hindu, April 11, 1925: Deccan Sabha Council

Poona, April 10: The Council of the Deccan Sabha under the Chairmanship of Mr. M.R. Gandhi, Pleader, had passed a resolution condemning the Majority Report of the Reforms Enquiry Committee as very unsatisfactory and urging the appointment, in the interest of the smooth working of the constitution of a representative Royal Commission to make a thorough investigation into the question of further constitutional advance. The resolution also thanked Sir Tej Bahadur Sapra, Sir Sivaswami Iyer and Mr. Jinnah and Doctor Paranjpye for having made out a conclusive case against the continuance of the present system.
